#OishiOWow Moments at the Oishi Snacktacular 2019

It's an epic spectacle like no other, and it just keeps getting better year after year...

Now on its fifth year, the Oishi Snacktacular 2019 brings lovers of snacks and munchies of all ages together at SM City Clark for a weekend of fun and yes, endless snacking. Where else can you Fish for Chips hauling in nets of Fishda, Kirei and Oishi's newest shrimp snack, Shripon? Or fill up your 2-foot giant pack with as much Oishi snacks in 60 seconds at the Snack Shack? Then, dive in a massive pool of Oishi snacks suspended on wires with the much-awaited Snack Catcher, it's all happening at the Oishi Snacktacular 2019 at SM City Clark this weekend...

It's an endearing brand close to many Filipinos, and Oishi continues to bring the joy and pleasure of snacking with the annual spectacle showcasing it's wide range of snacks. This year, Oishi Snacktacular heads north to SM City Clark with more games and surprises for a special one-of-a-kind brand activation.

Crowds gathered at the SM City Clark for the first day of Oishi Snacktacular 2019 last April 5 for another memorable Oishi experience...

...with their favorite Oishi snacks. And everyone came prepared, bringing their phones and cameras for that IG-worthy story at this year's edition of Oishi Snacktacular. Families and friends shared these moments with the brand everyone loves, those O, Wow moments that make it even more special.

The wide open space is transformed for the unique snacking spectacle, illuminated by bright lights. Massive booths and exciting games awaited guests at the Oishi Snacktacular 2019, with a chance to enjoy your favorite snacks and discover new products all in one place.

The Oishi Snacktacular adds an interactive layer to the snacking experience, amplifying numerous moments of simple pleasures in a seamless and colorful woven tapestry. This year, snack fans can haul bountiful loads of seafood snacks with Fish for Chips (L) with nets or go on a snacking frenzy filling up bags at the Snack Shack (R)... 

...with all your favorite Oishi Snacks in sixty seconds. But everyone had their eyes on the Snack Catcher (L), a favorite since the first Oishi Snacktacular. Fans can take a refreshing break at the O-Chill Booth (R) with inventive beverages like Smart C Lemon Squeeze + Yakult, Mais con Oaties and Hi-Coffee Latte + Coffee Jelly... 

...each one thirst-quenching and soothing beverages with that special O, Wow twist. But there's more. Snack fans can also bring home Snacktacular merchandise at the Oishi Shoptacular booth like fun Oishi Friends Plushies, cool t-shirts and comic-inspired tote bags to carry even more of your favorite Oishi snacks. 

But it's time to experience Oishi Snacktacular head on and up-close at the Fish for Chips booth...

...as you gaze down at a bin filled to the brim with Oishi Fishda, Kirei and the newest shrimp snack, Shripon with its vibrant red packaging.

Aptly named, Fish for Chips is a test of speed and agility. Armed with a pole with a net at one end, snack fans can scoop up all the products they want and transfer it to a bucket within one minute. Fun and exciting, many participants show off their catch from the Fish for Chips booth for posterity and some bragging rights. 

Over at the Snack Shack, multiple rows of shelves filled with Oishi snacks are neatly stacked for a one-minute shopping frenzy. Each participant is provided with a colorful Oishi bag to load up all your favorite Oishi snacks. Once the clock starts ticking...

...snack fans bust out their moves to stuff all the snacks within the one-minute duration. At the end of the minute, everything that fits in the bag when sealed is yours to bring home.

And there were a lot of happy and satisfied snack lovers at the Snack Shack that day.

Throughout the event space at SM City Clark, everyone at Oishi Snacktacular 2019 carried their own Oishi bag, jealously guarding their precious load. But everyone wanted more. And at Oishi Snacktacular, going for more is always part of the plan.

Strapped and suspended with wires, snack fans hovered over a large pool of snacks at the popular Snack Catcher. Each participant is then gently lowered, literally sinking in the various snacks, and slowly raised back. The objective is to use every part of your body to carry and grab as much Oishi snacks as possible. 

Loyal fans familiar with the the Oishi Snack Catcher had their own signature moves, while some even dressed up in costumes, like a martial artist and an astronaut, to pack in that extra load of snacks. Hands, legs, even your back can be used in this free-for-all snack grab.

Whatever you grab from the pool is then packed in colorful Oishi bags, another prize worth showing off to other snack lovers.

Then, from one side of the event space, a familiar voice and face greets snack fans. Oishi's brand endorser for Crispy Patata, the young and talented Alex Gonzaga, delighted and entertained her fans with her popular Chamba dance...

The crowds rushed to get closer, as Sam Purvor (L) introduced Alex Gonzaga on stage.

Large screens gave everyone a good view of the performance, and the vibe at Oishi Snacktacular goes into high gear. On Saturday, Youtube sensation and singer Janina Vela serenaded the fans, while Donny Pangilinan's chill tunes take the stage on Sunday. Snack fans can expect so much more at this year's edition of Oishi Snacktacular.

Joining the fun were The Oishi Friends, including Panya, Hippy, Pilyo, and Waifu, each one inspired by Oishi's well-loved snacks.

Fun, excitement, endless snacking and a whole lot of good times, it's a narrative taken straight out of Oishi's winning playbook. Flavorful simple pleasures, the much loved brand's DNA, is given life. It's a snacking spectacle like no other with that signature O, Wow touch.
