Wolfgang's Steakhouse redefines the concept of small plates featuring exquisite renditions using USDA Prime Black Angus Beef paired with wine, cocktails or draft beer with What's Your Beef? from 3:00 pm to 10:00 pm, Mondays to Saturdays at their locations in The Podium and BGC. The curated four-course menu is a creative collaboration between Chefs Chris Oronce and Alessio Loddo showcasing a variety of premium cuts including USDA Prime Black Angus Beef Short Ribs, Beef Chuck, Skirt Steak and Flank Steak. The premium beef and masterful execution by Chefs Chris and Alessio transforms any late afternoon or evening tipple in the elegant style of the famed New York steakhouse for a whole new dining experience. The shifting afternoon light bathes the elegant space with its dark wood and warm leather tones in a lingering glow, setting the mood for a sumptuous tipple with tasty and savory small plates. Located at the heart of the bustling Ortigas commercial and business district, Wolfgang's Steakhouse at The Podium is the perfect spot for a round of refreshing cocktails. And tasty bites. 


The novel What's Your Beef? concept of Wolfgang's Steakhouse takes a refreshed perspective on the "happy hour" tradition, reinventing it with its own spin anchored on the savory arsenal of USDA Prime Black Angus Beef the steakhouse has long been known for. For it's first inaugural run, What's Your Beef? features Chefs Chris Oronce and Alessio Loddo with their renditions of beef inspired by Asian and Italian flavors translated in two sets of four exquisite dishes. 

The What's Your Beef? menu features two different sets offered on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays and another on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays priced at P 1,988 inclusive of three beverages and P 2,188 for a set with four beverages. Additional plates are priced at P 348. The new What's Your Beef? offerings are exclusive to the The Podium and BGC branches of Wolfgang's Steakhouse


The bar of Wolfgang's Steakhouse at The Podium is ready to quench your thirst with its selection of libations to fit your mood or craving. The What's Your Beef? set includes options for wine, draft beer or cocktails...


...from French wines like Baron De Luze Sauvignon Blanc, Rosé and Bordeaux, the Italian Banfi "Col di Sasso" Cabernet Sangiovese from Tuscany and Long Barn Cabernet Sauvignon from California. 


One sip kicks off your "happy hour" at Wolfgang's Steakhouse with each What's Your Beef? set inclusive of three or four beverages depending on the package. Draft Beer more your thing? Choose from San Miguel Pale Pilsen or San Miguel Light

Monday-Wednesday-Friday Set

Chefs Chris and Alessio starts the M-W-F What's Your Beef? Set with the Beef Tataki, a light yet flavorful course with USDA Prime Black Angus Beef Short Ribs delicately seared and sliced paper thin richly seasoned with ponzu and topped with red onions and crisp garlic chips. Beautifully plated, the dish first feeds the eyes before the palate...


...followed by that deep and savory beefy richness punctuated by the vibrant notes of ponzu. The bold, beefy notes are perfectly tempered by the ponzu, the sharp bite of the red onions and nutty hints of the crunchy garlic chips for that balanced and delectable play on textural contrasts and flavors. The quality of the beef becomes evident from the very first slice and bite all the way to the last with its buttery finish releasing even more intense notes. 


Inspired Italian flavors are served next with the Bruschetta, an indulgent bite-sized treat generously loaded with a heaping mound of fork-tender Black Angus Prime Beef Chuck in paper thin slices topped with marinated sweet tomatoes on delicately crisp onion bread toast drizzled with olive oil and liberally sprinkled with salt and pepper. 

Like many of the dishes on the What's Your Beef? menu, the premium beef remains the star of each course and rightly so. Exceptional beef is, after all, the calling card of Wolfgang's Steakhouse. The Black Angus Beef Chuck brings a flavorful depth with each bite with the marinated tomatoes, olive oil, salt and pepper and the onion bread completing the medley of rich notes. 


The Braised Short Ribs is a comforting small plate of comforting all-beef goodness. Slow-cooked until fork-tender in dashi stock, soy sauce and aromatics, the Black Angus Prime Beef Short Ribs just drapes the palate with its pure and unrestrained richness as it slowly melts after each bite. 

There's a rustic and even homestyle vibe to this dish that you'll have to restrain yourself from ordering a cup of rice. It's a hearty dish that reflects the creative range and versatility of good premium beef as interpreted by Chefs Chris and Alessio for the What's Your Beef? menu at Wolfgang's Steakhouse. The dashi stock and soy sauce along with the aromatics brings that sweet and salty finish to complete the dish. 


With the third course served, the small plates add up for a filling and satisfying feast in itself. But there's more...


For the last course on the M-W-F set of What's Your Beef?, the Arancini Tartare with minced raw Black Angus Prime Beef Chuck seasoned with capers, onions, salt and pepper gently laid on a soft and crisp Bolognese Arancini was served to complete the savory quartet by Chefs Chris and Alessio


The rich, buttery yet clean flavors of the Black Angus Prime Beef Chuck fills the palate with its deep savory notes while the arancini rounds out the flavors with its creamy richness and contrasting textures. It's a fitting finale to an epic all-beef affair with small plates masterfully executed by Chefs Chris and Alessio. With each dish distinct from the other, Chefs Chris and Alessio present a diverse array of creative renditions with USDA Prime Black Angus Beef as the flavorful base. 

For dessert, diners can choose from Tiramisu or Panna Cotta for the perfect sweet ending. 


Tuesday-Thursday-Saturday Set

If you decide to visit Wolfgang's Steakhouse in The Podium or BGC on Tuesday, Thursday or a Saturday, Chefs Chris and Alessio have a different set of culinary creations to tease your palate starting with the Carpaccio Luddo. The refreshing first course features paper-thin slices of raw Black Angus Prime Short Ribs simply seasoned with salt, pepper and cocktail aioli under a mound of garden fresh and crisp greens. 

The elegantly simple dish brings fresh, clean and complex hearty notes into play bannered by the USDA Prime Black Angus Beef Short Ribs. The supporting cast of ingredients brings contrasting textures and flavors in a delectably seamless blend for an excellent start to your What's Your Beef? experience at Wolfgang's Steakhouse


Similar to the previous set, the menu for Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday also includes the Bruschetta with its savory topping of Black Angus Prime Beef Chuck.  


The Skirt Steak with Sesame Teriyaki brings Black Angus Prime Skirt Steak perfectly grilled to medium rare with a juicy pink center paired with a side of sautéed Asian mushrooms on mildly sweet and nutty sesame teriyaki sauce topped with crispy onions. It's an impressive small plate with a sumptuous main course vibe.


The beefy richness of the Black Angus Prime Skirt Steak is perfectly complemented and enhanced by the Asian-inspired sauce and sides for a satisfying meal on a small plate. The Black Angus Prime Skirt Steak delivers full and robust notes with just a very mild bite, the same cut used for the specialty tacos of Wolfgang's Steakhouse. With a juicy pink center, one bite is soon followed by another. Wolfgang's Steakhouse's mastery of beef is on full display with this dish.


For the fourth and final dish, the Flank Steak Skewers with Kimchi Rice draws inspiration from Korean cuisine to highlight the flavors of the Black Angus Prime Beef Flank Steak marinated in a spicy bulgogi sauce served with soft and moist mushroom-kimchi fried rice topped with egg. And this small plate is big on flavors. 


The grilled skewered Black Angus Prime Beef Flank Steak can be tricky. Just like the Skirt Steak, a good flank steak demands perfection on the grill for a tender finish. And Wolfgang's Steakhouse shines once more with the final dish for the Tuesday-Thursday-Saturday What's Your Beef? set. And the results are just what you'd expect from Wolfgang's Steakhouse, deep, bold and rich beefy flavors made even more intense with its spicy bulgogi style marinade. The kimchi-fried rice topped with egg makes this a serious meal in a small plate. 


The What's Your Beef? set includes dessert of your choice, Tiramisu or Panna Cotta. Small plates and libations take on a luxurious and elevated flair in the style of Wolfgang's Steakhouse.
