Getting your Sugar Fix at Naci

"Comfort food & dessert bar," seems like the perfect place for a quick sugar fix. After picking up some family photos which I had framed at Fox Square, I noticed a cake display which, on a late afternoon, is pretty hard to resist. Phil, one of Naci's friendly staff, highly recommended a slice of the Caramel Cream Cake, and I agreed. And Phil didn't disappoint.

Rich, creamy, but not too sweet, great with coffee, and a great way to end a busy afternoon.

A cool reco from Phil, pretty good.

 And they have cupcakes too...

 ...a lot of cupcakes.

Naci is nicely tucked in a little corner on the second floor, away from the mad rush and traffic of the Greenhills commercial center. Definitely a good place for a sugar fix.

Naci is located at the 2nd Floor, Fox Square Building, 53 Connecticut St., Greenhills or call 726-7266 for inquiries.

UPDATE: Naci Comfort Food has moved to a new location, you can find them at Unit 3, Two Parkade, 7th Avenue, Bonifacio Global City or call 847-6224 for inquiries.

Dude for Food is now on Facebook, check out the FB Page for regular updates on good eats. Better yet, Click "Like" and enjoy the ride...just look for the FB "Like" widget on the right sidebar.

  9. This came out really well. I mixed the lime and used standard rum instead of dark since I did not have any in stock. The frosting was great. Not too sweet at all. I will make the cake again definitely. It had a cake consistency unlike some banana cakes which taste more like a banana bread. But the frosting was time consuming so I may use another frosting. I learned that recipe at www.gourmetrecipe.com and at www.gourmandia.com...try to visit that sites...surely you will enjoy it!
