McCormick's Easy Mexican Coffee

Here's a quick and simple recipe to jumpstart your usual cup of coffee. I sampled this brew from the recent launch of McCormick's new Facebook App, Flavor HQ (see my previous post here at http://dude4food.blogspot.com/2012/05/discover-flavors-with-mccormicks-flavor.html). And as promised, here's the quick and easy recipe from McCormick's Flavor HQ...

Ingredients:

3/4 cup Ground dark roast coffee (regular or decaf)
2 tsps. McCormick Cinnamon Ground
6 cups water
1 cup milk
1/3 cup Chocolate Syrup
2 tbsps. Light brown sugar
1 tsp. McCormick Vanilla Extract
Whipped Cream (Optional)

Procedure:

1. Place coffee and McCormick Cinnamon in filter basket of coffeemaker. Add water to coffeemaker and brew as directed.
2. Simmer milk, chocolate syrup and brown sugar in small saucepan on low heat until sugar dissolves.
3. Mix milk mixture and brewed coffee; stir vanilla.  Garnish with whipped cream and cinnamon, if desired.

Then, just sit back and relax, everything's cool. Have a great day ahead!
