Now Grinding Up North: Grind Burger at The Block

Freshly ground premium USDA beef on a buttery brioche fresh from the oven, it's just the way a good burger should be...

Grind Bistro brings its signature burgers and comforting American-style cuisine up north, with Grind Burger at SM North Edsa's The Block. Burgers, hotdogs, and even rice meals, Grind Burger does it right.

Located right across SM Hypermart inside The Block at SM North Edsa, Grind Burger brings a casual American bistro vibe with its comforting dishes, adding to the many dining options at The Block. Following the success of Grind Bistro at Net Park BGC, the north gets a taste with Grind Burger at SM North Edsa.

The new branch presents a different market, with its own demographics, and Grind Bistro tweaks its dining concept with the new Grind Burger while retaining its culinary core with freshly ground premium beef patties, fresh baked brioche, and comforting American cuisine. Start with Grind Burger's crisp Nachos served with a pair of dips and you're all set for the Grind Burger experience...

With SM Hypermart directly across Grind Burger, you can do your regular groceries and have a tasty bite right after, all in one place. Grind Burger also offers satisfying meals like the Nutty Black Chicken (P 295), a unique rice dish with black tempura chicken on romesco sauce and sweet chili sauce topped with crisp garlic chips, in case you're looking for a tasty and satisfying rice meal. Grind Burger's Nutty Black Chicken is different and refreshing, with tender and juicy chicken coated in a light squid-ink tempura batter and deep-fried until crisp, delivering rich flavors and textures.

Finding a good old-fashioned hotdog in the metro can sometimes be a challenge, but Grind Burger's Dirty Dog (P 225), with 100% all-beef hotdog topped with American cheese, pickles, tomatoes, whole grain mustard, hot peppers, and drizzled with spicy mayo on a soft hoagie roll, is right up there on my list. The whole beef hotdog is perfectly spiced, with just a whisper of heat laying its own distinct notes with every bite, tempered by the creamy American cheese, and kicked up a notch by the spicy mayo and whole grain mustard. The soft hoagie roll absorbs the flavors of the different ingredients, retaining its form all the way to the last bite. Looking for a hotdog? Go dirty, with Grind Burger's Dirty Dog.

And here's the beef. The Grind Burger (P 250), with 100% USDA house ground beef topped with American cheese on vine-ripened tomato, sweet onion, iceberg lettuce, and secret housemade sauce on freshly baked buttered Brioche, served with a side of thinly-sliced potato chips and house-made pickles, perfect when paired with Grind Burger's Onion Rings (P 75). One bite, and you just know this is seriously good beef, setting it apart from the usual burger options at The Block. And both the USDA beef patty and the soft and buttery bun retains its form without crumbling. The richness of the beef coats your palate with bold and robust flavors, exactly the way I want my burger. The creamy American cheese, tart tomato and sweet onion, along with the proprietary housemade sauce, completes the flavors. It's a real burger, and now you can find it up north, at Grind Burger in SM North Edsa.
