Beat the Monday Blues with the Burger and Free-Flowing Beer Mondays at Fireplace

Mondays just got a flavorful boost...

...with the Burger and Free-Flowing Beer Mondays at New World Manila Bay Hotel's Fireplace. A burger and an ice-cold beer works for me any day, even on rainy days and Mondays. And you can have all the beer you want with your burger...at Fireplace.

Inside the elegant and spacious interiors of Fireplace, the dark wood tones and stone textures provide a dramatic backdrop to the warm glow from the wood-fired ovens. Executive Chef James Williams (R) warmly welcomed the group for a taste of Burger and Free-Flowing Beer Mondays at Fireplace...

...and who doesn't love a good and honest burger with an ice-cold beer? And make that unlimited beer...and it just can't get better than that. It's a perfect fit to the culinary theme of Fireplace, known for their selection of premium steaks (for more on Fireplace, see my previous post, What's new at The Fireplace...).

At Fireplace, diners are served freshly baked bread with whipped butter...

...including their signature Tomato Brioche, soft buns with just the right hint of tartness, great with a heaping dollop of butter.

But you're here for the burger. And the beer. And every Monday from February to March, 2017, you can can have your burger and all the beer you want at Fireplace. For P 1,700 net, you can have a serious all-beef burger paired with the classic San Miguel Pale Pilsen, the refreshing San Mig Lite, or a local craft beer, Kalinga Kolsch, and enjoy bottle after bottle to chase away the Monday blues with the Burger and Free-Flowing Beer Mondays at Fireplace

And it all begins with The Fireplace's Signature Burger, with a thick and juicy all-beef patty topped with a pair of quail eggs on truffle mayonnaise, onion jam, and foie gras on a soft brioche bun.

Each big bite releases a flavorful punch of bold and savory notes, with all the different components coming together in a seamless blend, just what you need to make Mondays so much better.

Wash it all down with your favorite beer, and you just know you're in a good place. The Kalinga Kolsch by Crazy Carabao Brewing Company is light and easy, yet its deep flavorful notes come through with every sip, pairing well with the savory richness of The Fireplace's Signature Burger. Then, you have the rest of the signature dishes of Fireplace, just in case you miss their Burger and Free-Flowing Beer Mondays...

...like the Hot Smoked Salmon (P 520), an elegantly plated dish with premium salmon served with a side of grilled calamari, deep-fried squid, and vegetables on creamy squid ink mayo. Light with clean and fresh flavors, it's a healthy option at Fireplace.

Craving for a salad? The Fireplace's Caesar Salad (P 600), garden fresh greens with crisp pancetta and Parmesan tuille, should do the trick. The rich notes of the dressing and crisp greens play well with the crunchy pancetta and the sharp flavors of the thin Parmesan tuille for a delicately balanced salad.

Oysters? Why not. And the Oysters Rockefeller at Fireplace is the way to go...

Other savory entrees include the Baby Back Pork Ribs served with coleslaw. Draped in a mildly sweet, tart and smoky barbecue sauce, the fall-off-the-bone ribs should satisfy any serious pork craving. Change the pace with a glass of wine...

Then, there's the signature steaks of Fireplace, like the impressive Wagyu Ribeye Marble Score 3 (P 3,200-400g). At Fireplace, all steaks are grilled in their traditional wood-fired Beech Oven using local ipil-ipil wood for that distinct and subtle smoky flavor, topped with Cafe de Paris butter, and served with bone marrow and shaved foie gras for an indulgent richness.

Grilled to medium rare with a juicy pink center, the intense flavors of the ribeye immediately satisfies, capped by the equally rich Cafe de Paris butter, bone marrow and foie gras.

The Hanging Tender (P 1,750-300g), a leaner cut of beef, is perfectly grilled for that fork-tender finish. The flavors are just as bold and rich, and the Cafe de Paris butter weaves its own flavorful notes to the mix for another winning dish.

For dessert, knock yourself out with with the Fireplace's Strawberry Tart...

...the Green Tea Cheesecake...

...and if you're looking for chocolate love...

...the Molten Chocolate Lava Cake should do the trick, served with ice cream and berries. Stop by the Fireplace for Burger and Free-Flowing Beer Mondays, or enjoy their signature dishes the rest of the week. The warm glow from the wood-fired Beech Oven, the elegant wood tones and stone interiors, and the sumptuous cuisine, Mondays and any other day just got better...at Fireplace.
