Fired Up at Fire Station

Delicately grilled skewers of meat, seafood and vegetables generously spiced for that flavorful punch of heat...

...the grill's all fired up at Fire Station. From the same group behind The Cheese Steak Shop comes another innovative food truck concept, Fire Station with its inventive range of char-grilled cuisine. Refreshingly different, here's a spicy peek at Fire Station's tasty skewered offerings...

At Fire Station, you'll find a variety of grilled items, including a few surprising skewers that reaffirms our love for food served on sticks. Like the Grilled Eggplant (P 40) topped with loads of garlic and fresh chili, combining the sweet and smoky notes of the eggplant with the nutty hints of garlic and soothing heat of the chili. And there's more. Like the Grilled Cabbage (P 15) and the Grilled String Beans (P 15), with the charred ends adding both flavor and texture to the mildly sweet vegetables. The grill brings out the flavors of the vegetables, and the garlic and chili adds that final layer to complete the flavors.

After quick work on the grilled vegetables, go for Firestation PH's Chicken Wings (P 35), Chicken Gizzard (P 15), Chicken Skin (P 20), and Chicken Breast (P 20), each one coated with their spicy rub. Looking for some pork love? Firestation PH's got that covered too, with their grilled skewered Pork (P 20), Pork Belly (P 20) and Sausage (P 25). Seafood? The Squid Ball (P 15) and their newest item, Scallops, should do the trick. Make it a real meal with rice (P 20). It's that combination of smoky notes and spicy heat that makes Fire Station different and special.

Grilled and spicy, just the way you like it. The local food truck scene gets another exciting new player, and things are looking good. Hungry? Check out Fire Station's FB Page on the location of their next pop-up and food truck schedules (see link below).
