It's A Green Christmas with Palm Grill's Signature Green Chicken...

It's beginning to look like a green Christmas...

...with Palm Grill's popular signature Green Chicken. Tender and juicy grilled chicken marinated, seasoned and simmered in coconut milk and seven Asian spices, it's the dish that propelled Palm Grill into the metro's culinary spotlight and chosen as this year's Best Filipino Restaurant by Let's Eat Magazine of Philippine Star (for more on Palm Grill, see my previous post, Green Chicken and Good Vibes: Discover Mindanaoan Flavors at Palm Grill). And I have a whole Green Chicken from Palm Grill all to myself for the Christmas weekend. It's a green Christmas...with Palm Grill's best-selling Green Chicken.

Packed in a large container with a bright green lid tied with a festive red ribbon, Christmas arrives just in time with a doorbell for a special delivery from Palm Grill.

As I opened the lid, the sight of one whole chicken, split in half, draped in the special green sauce and laid on crisp garden-fresh lettuce, carrots and string beans triggers my appetite. The fragrant aroma of smoky notes and spices rise up, as you hurriedly turn on the rice cooker for a sumptuous lunch with Palm Grill's Green Chicken.

Drawing inspiration from the Tausug Pianggang of the deep south, a local indigenous chicken dish flavored with burnt coconut, Palm Grill shares their own take with the Green Chicken, a delicately slow-roasted whole chicken marinated and cooked in coconut milk seasoned with seven Asian spices. The delicate flavors of the chicken are enhanced by the spice blend and enriched by the coconut cream for rich and bold notes. The play on subtle hints of sweetness and soothing heat come together in a delicate balance, rounded out by the delectable smokiness with each and every bite. But it's the sauce that binds everything together with its nutty notes, pairing perfectly with the tender and juicy grilled chicken.

If you still haven't tried what everyone's been talking about lately, this is a good time to discover the rich Mindanaoan flavors of Palm Grill. Have a merry green Christmas, with Palm Grill's Green Chicken...
