Fine Cuisine, Fun Cuisine and Sunday Fun Days at Martin Place Social

From exclusive private dining to special culinary classes, casual fun dining and Sunday Fun Days, Chef Philip Golding rounds it all up in a neat package...

...at Martin Place Social, your newest culinary meeting place at Bonifacio Global City. Cocktails, an elegant dinner or just a leisurely lunch, Martin Social Place is your pick at The Fort.

Located at The Plaza of the elegant Arya Residences at The Fort, Martin Place Social is ideally situated at the heart of it all, yet one feels far away from the usual hustle and bustle of the busy commercial and business district. Eat. Drink. Inspire. And you can do just that at Martin Place Social.

At the helm of Martin Place Social is noted Chef Philip Golding, one of the country's key culinary movers (for more on Chef Philip Golding, see my earlier posts, An Inside Look: Chef Philip Golding at Red Panda from four years back, A Pop-Up at The Penthouse on one of Chef Philip Golding's culinary events, Brera Delicatessen: The World's Finest Comes to Acacia Estates on world-class premium deli products curated by Chef Philip Golding, The Spirit of Escoffier: The Disciples of Escoffier Gala Dinner at Sage Bespoke Grill on Chef Philip Golding's involvement with the prestigious Disciples of Escoffier and Deconstructing Filipino Flavors with Junior Master Chef Louise Mabulo on Chef Philip Golding's mentorship of Junior Chef Louise Mabulo for the Escoffier  Young Talent Competition). Martin Place Social is Chef Philip's latest dining concept, and it's always exciting to see his projects take shape. It's the perfect venue for almost anything.

Chef Philip Golding takes his staff through the paces, preparing fresh pasta and pizza dough daily. You just can't expect anything less, not with Chef Philip Golding in the kitchen. Meanwhile, back at the dining area, Chef Philip Golding checks on Martin Place Social's resident mixologist and her line up of signature cocktails. That day, Martin Place Social's mixologist whips up a soothing and temptingly sweet libation with just the right kick to get you in the groove for a perfect weekend afternoon...

A rum-based cocktail capped by the nutty sweetness of popcorn, there's a lot of potential with this cocktail. And you might just see it on the cocktail menu soon at Martin Place Social.

Sunday afternoons at Martin Place Social are Sunday Fun Days, a personal advocacy by Chefs Philip and Donna for children with special needs. The kitchen is transformed into a classroom, flowing with a whole lot of positive energy and good vibes allowing the children to productively focus their attention on preparing simple yet elegant dishes.

...taking the students through each step of the process. The kids learn the proper technique in preparing the ingredients with precision through each delicate slice and chop.

It's a whole new experience for me to witness how a simple session in the kitchen can help children with special needs, going through each step in the creation of a dish with their single-minded focus. From preparing hot dishes to baking cookies for dessert, the kids enjoyed a unique activity at Martin Place Social.

Chef Philip Golding joins the class, bringing his own engaging style to the session. With the help of Chef Philip in the kitchen, the kids churn out elegantly plated dishes after the class. And the smiles from the kids seemed to glow in the kitchen, and why not? It's an impressive feat that deserved an applause from the entire team at Martin Place Social...

...paired with their homemade Cookies baked and decorated in one fun class at Martin Place Social's kitchen, just can't get better than that. If you're interested in participating in one of Martin Place Social's Sunday Fun Day classes, just give them a call for an appointment.

Martin Place Social serves a wide variety of signature dishes, from comforting breakfast and brunch fare to savory mains, like this Mountain Pork Belly Salad (P 480) with tender sous-vide pork delicately pan-seared to a light crispness laid on a garden fresh Asian slaw of mixed vegetables draped in a tart Thai-style tamarind dressing.

That day, Chef Philip added grilled prawns for that extra flavorful punch. The sumptuous salad is a meal in itself, with the savory richness of the fork-tender pork belly and the briny sweetness of the succulent prawns pairing well with the Asian slaw for balanced flavors.

Eat. Drink. Inspire. It's Sunday Fun Day at Martin Place Social.
