Beast Mode On: Unleash The Beast at Burger Beast, Now Open at SM Mall of Asia

Chef Carlo Miguel has a real passion for burgers. And this passion is ignited with every single specialty burger served at Burger Beast...

Beastly artisan burgers, prepared to perfection at Burger Beast. That's what burger fans can expect at the newest burger destination in the metro. From the juicy beef or chicken patty to the premium cheeses, sauces and fixings down to the pillow soft bun, Chef Carlo Miguel nails it with his lavish and unrestrained take on the perfect burger. What began as an online delivery operation back in 2020 at the height of the pandemic through his innovative CloudEats is now a solid chef-driven concept with branches in Uptown Mall, Eastwood Mall, UP Town Center and its newest location at SM Mall of Asia. Ready to unleash your inner beast? Let Chef Carlo Miguel show you how...

The ubiquitous burger remains a popular staple in the local mainstream culinary scene with countless options to satisfy any serious craving. Drawing on his fond and nostalgic memories growing up at the burger joint of his parents in San Francisco, award-winning and noted culinary personality Chef Carlo Miguel breaks down the familiar components of the classic burger weaving his own masterful spin for a real next level burger experience. Chef Carlo Miguel is bent on changing the local burger game with both creativity and innovation with Burger Beast

His proprietary beef blend with finely ground fatty beef combined with course ground lean beef is at the heart of his personal quest for the perfect burger completed by an array of fixings, cheeses and inventive sauces on a soft and buttery bun. Each component complements the other and this wicked burger magic by Burger Beast is now grilling, steaming and smashing at SM Mall of Asia

At the newest location of Burger Beast in SM Mall of Asia, the vibrant colors of the brand's personality and imagery catches your eye...

...with its bold and intrusive graphics and fonts promising an all new and beastly burger experience ready to take on the big brands with its focus on strong and unique flavors, chef-driven concept and quality focused artisan interpretations of the classic burger.

Taking the reverse off-the-path route from an online operation when it started in 2020 during the pandemic and transitioning to a full brick and mortar establishment now with four locations isn't the usual narrative, but then again Chef Carlo Miguel isn't one to stick with the usual and expected. Instead, Chef Carlo Miguel often challenges the conventional with his inspired and creative approach to flavors. And Burger Beast is clearly a reflection of his culinary philosophy.

At the formal opening, Chef Carlo Miguel is joined by management from CloudEats to officially fire up the grills of Burger Beast at SM Mall of Asia. Not with the usual ribbon cutting but with a dramatic ripping of the banner in true beastly style consistent with the brand's character.

And just like that, Burger Beast announces its entry into the competitive local burger market with its fourth branch at SM Mall of Asia. A beast among burgers, it's time to unleash your inner beast with the savory offerings of Chef Carlo Miguel...

...with tempting bites of sweet and sticky Soy Garlic Chicken Poppers with juicy chicken capped by a delectably crisp layer glazed in an Asian inspired sauce. The play on textural contrasts followed by its bold burst of savory richness teases the palate to begin your beastly dining experience at Burger Beast

That initial crunch is followed by a tender and juicy finish with sweet and salty hints lingering on the palate after every bite. Burger Beast offers a wide variety of poppers and wings in Salted Egg, Buffalo and Garlic Parmesan variants in addition to the Soy Garlic

What's a burger without fries? No burger joint is complete without fries and the specialty Curly Fries and Onion Rings with Beast Ketchup are spot on to complete the roster at Burger Beast

Burger Beast then served their popular "beastsellers" with the aptly named Umami Burger (P 249) with American cheese, caramelized onions and Signature beef patty slathered in their special Umami Sauce and the Truffle Burger (P 320) with Mozzarella and truffle oil on a soft bun.

Expect a solid burst of umami goodness with the Umami Burger, highlighted by its juicy patty and soft bun with a subtle sharpness from the American cheese and sweetness of the caramelized onions tied neatly together by the special Umami Sauce. The intensely deep, earthy and nutty hints of truffle oil brings an elegant and indulgent richness with each bite of the Truffle Burger perfectly smoothened by the luscious and creamy Mozzarella in a balanced play on flavors.

One bite and it becomes immediately clear. Chef Carlo Miguel's focus on the patty and the bun makes the perfect burger while the cheeses, sauces and fixings complete the experience. Both the Umami Burger and Truffle Burger begins with the masterfully executed patty laid on a soft and buttery bun.

We've been disappointed before with dry patties and hard buns. Not at Burger Beast

Wash it all down with the Beast Brew, a rich and soothing artisan beer created just for Burger Beast in collaboration with Tagaytay's Monkey Eagle Brewery. An easy and smooth ale with full and rounded notes finished with refreshing hints of tropical fruit and summer flowers, the Beast Brew cleanses the palate allowing you to enjoy another bite of the burger cutting through its savory richness.

In an innovative and brilliant move, Burger Beast brings one feature that sets it apart from the rest. Diners can create their own personalized burger with the unique customization feature at Burger Beast. The Build Your Own Burger Kiosk allows you to create your own version of burger perfection with its easy interface, simply click on the components and ingredients you love and start building.

It's your burger, and your rules. Burger Beast provides the freshest and finest ingredients for your own style of burger, so be creative. How to build your own burger? Easy...

First, choose your patty. Burger Beast offers Regular Beef, Smashed, Steamed and Crispy Chicken. Then, select your choice of cheese from American, Swiss, Cheese Sauce, Bleu and Mozzarella. Next, pick your sauce and this is where it gets really interesting. Sauce options include Umami, Buffalo, Truffle, Beast Ketchup, Peanut Butter, Cilantro Oil, Garlic Aioli, Caesar, Teriyaki, BBQ, Yellow Mustard, Secret Burger Sauce and Dijon Mustard. Finally, choose three fixings to complete your burger creation from Lettuce, Bacon, Kimchi, Caramelized Onions, Tomatoes, Mushrooms, Grilled Onions, Pineapple, Pickles, Fresh Onions, Balsamic Onions, JalapeƱos and Fried Egg. And punch it in on the screen to begin the process.

My cravings for the moment that day? Bleu cheese, Fresh Onions and Mushrooms on a crisp and juicy Smashed patty slathered with Truffle Sauce. Simple yet unapologetically rich, the combo could work well with a Steamed patty too.

The bold savory richness of the Smashed patty becomes the flavorful base layered with the unctuous indulgence of the Truffle Sauce and Bleu Cheese perfectly tempered by the sharpness and bite of the Fresh Onions and rounded out by the Mushrooms for an elegant finish. What's your recipe for the perfect burger? Do it at Burger Beast with just a few taps on the screen at the Build Your Own Burger Kiosk
