Like Red Lantern in Solaire Resort Entertainment City, the elegant space in Solaire Resort North reflects the same luxurious and opulent vibe matched by impeccable service and exquisite dishes from its main dining area anchored by an open kitchen...

...to more intimate private dining rooms. But Red Lantern in Solaire Resort North aims to bring its own identity into play catering to the uniqueness of the northern market with its menu. And to celebrate Solaire Resort North's first year anniversary milestone, Red Lantern unveils its new and elevated menu.

Helmed by renowned Chef de Cuisine Jason Wong, the new menu at Red Lantern draws inspiration from his global expertise and deep respect for Chinese culinary traditions with each and every dish. The freshest and finest ingredients combine with masterful execution under Chef de Cuisine Jason Wong at Red Lantern.

But first, some refreshingly soothing libations. At Red Lantern, diners are treated to entertaining and one-of-a-kind cultural performances adding yet another layer to your dining experience with Tea Master Harry Gu. Your cup of tea is served in grand style at Red Lantern with the Chinese Kung-Fu tea ceremony...

The deep and lingering richness of the Jasmine Tea served by Tea Master Harry Gu is the first of many experiences in a continuous link of memorable moments at Red Lantern.

Your sensory feast at Red Lantern begins with the savory Simmered Meat Platter featuring a choice selection of tender chicken, melt-in-your-mouth beef stomach, tofu, and pork slathered in a rich and mildly sweet sauce. The starter boasts a medley of flavorful notes and textures to open up the palate for the coming feast prepared by Chef de Cuisine Jason Wong

Next, the Deep-Fried Eggplant coated with meat floss and quinoa is another elegant rendition of contrasting flavors and textures experienced in each bite. The delicately light crispness of the eggplant releases a subtle sweetness after every tasty bite followed by the subtle and nuanced notes from the meat floss and quinoa for a delectable play on flavors. It's dishes like this that places Red Lantern high up on your list for must-try dining destinations up north of the metro.

The Teochew Crispy Prawn Roll with Chef's Sauce is another meticulously executed dish highlighted by the bold yet clean briny sweetness of the prawns made even richer by the special sauce. Each bite is announced by an audible crunch soon followed by the fresh flavors of the prawns.

A hearty bowl of Braised Sea Treasure Soup with Black Truffle becomes a refreshing change of pace with its comforting richness warmly draping the palate. The distinct and succulent briny sweetness of the seafood comes through with each sip and bite, perfectly rounded out by the deep earthy and nutty hints of black truffle for that elegant finish.

The Deep-Fried Pork Belly with Macanese Shrimp Paste is another masterfully executed dish by Chef de Cuisine Jason Wong featuring succulent pork draped in a light and crisp layer of breading for a delectable textural play. The savory richness of the juicy pork belly is perfectly tempered by the savory sharpness of the Macanese shrimp paste for balanced flavors.

But Chef de Cuisine Jason Wong isn't done yet, as the Pan-Fried M3 Ribeye Beef elegantly served in a wooden box is presented. Like butter, the fork-tender premium beef just melts in your mouth complemented by just a whisper of smoky hints to complete the elaborate play on flavors. It's an impressive showstopper of a dish with equally pronounced and unrestrained notes highlighting the quality of the beef.

The Braised Chicken with Shallots and Basil Leaves drizzled in thick and savory San Bei ji Sauce is a comforting dish with the delicate notes of the tender chicken complemented by the upfront and flavor forward sharpness of the thick sauce lingering long after the last bite.

And don't forget your veggies. At Red Lantern, you can enjoy the clean and uncluttered sweetness of fresh vegetables in a variety of dishes like the Sautéed Celery, Black Fungus, Water Chestnut and Lotus Root. A deceptively simple dish, it's a rendition that proves freshness is indeed flavor in purest form.

The succulent Prawns in Sweet and Spicy Sauce served with mantou is yet another must-try dish at Red Lantern. The succulent prawns deliver a fresh snap followed by a burst of briny sweet notes before a lingering yet soothing heat takes over. So many flavors in just one bite, Red Lantern's repertoire of flavors offers both the comfortingly familiar as well as surprising renditions for a memorable Chinese feast.

Did you say rice? The Fried Rice with Shimeji and Sweet Corn is the perfect complement to all the dishes served so far at Red Lantern. From the mushrooms and sweet corn to the Wagyu beef, this is one fried rice you just can't pass up at Red Lantern

Cap your Chinese feast with the perfect sweet ending at Red Lantern with desserts that first feeds the eyes before the palate like the Chilled Snow Fungus, Red Dates with White Pear...

...or the specialty Deep-Fried Sesame Ball with Lotus Paste with its pillow-soft texture and delicately mild chewy finish. From starters to mains and desserts, Red Lantern is on its way to becoming a dining destination up north with its elevated menu. The culinary scene north of the metro is evolving, and now you don't have to go far down south to experience luxurious Chinese Cuisine. You'll find it here at Red Lantern in Solaire Resort North, brightly shining the way to elegant dining experiences...
