At the spread, guests enjoyed the timeless flavors of the Special Classic Bibingka (P 140) with salted egg, a dab of margarine, a sprinkling of Muscovado sugar and shaved coconut in its purest and most nostalgic form...

...along with creative renditions reimagining traditional flavors with a modern and contemporary twist like the Leche Flan & Macapuno Bibingka (P 250) topped with a decadent layer of creamy custard and sweet coconut strips...

...and the sweet and savory Hamon & Queso de Bola (P 250) with mildly salty and delectable hints for that contrasting yet delicately balanced sweet and salty finish. It's the festive flavors of the holidays with Christmas ham and Edam cheese taking the usual bibingka next level. The culinary team led by Executive Chef Christian "Kit" Carpio reinvents tradition with indulgent touches weaving the flavors of the season in imaginative expressions of the enduring Bibingka

Then, there's the Special Classic Puto Bumbong (P 140) in its original presentation with margarine, Muscovado sugar and fresh shaved coconut that continues to warm the palate...

...but Executive Chef Christian "Kit" Carpio and his team gets creative with the Mango & Sesame Puto Bumbong (P 190) with sweet mango, roasted sesame and a generous drizzle of silky smooth and creamy coconut milk. The reimagined puto bumbong with Thai-inspired notes is a refreshing variation to enjoy and discover at Savoy Hotel Manila

The Coconut Jam & Latik Puto Bumbong (P 190) is yet another creative variation with a double dose of pure coconut indulgence. The coconut jam not only adds that layer of sweetness but a delectable depth in flavor completed by the textural contrast of the crisp toasted coconut curd.
