Food Tripping at the Ronac Art Center

It's a Friday, time to fastforward the weekend with a food trip. With old favorites, all in one place.

Located along Ortigas Avenue, Ronac Art Center is perfect for a mini food crawl.

For starters, look for the vintage red VW Kombi parked on the side for the best slow roasted Angus beef.

I've tried Chef Resty's Roast Beef in night markets and food fairs, and it's nice to know that they now have a regular location. Chef Resty's has several options to pair with their roast beef, which includes rice, potatoes and pasta.

I go for the Roast Beef on Ciabatta (P 120) for starters.

Tender and juicy, the ciabatta is perfect in soaking up all the au jus and gravy.

Pour some more gravy and enjoy. And don't forget to ask for extra napkins.

Next stop, Charlie's Grind and Grill. This time with Charlie's Cheesesteak (P 325).

Grass fed Batangas AAA beef, perfectly grilled, topped with caramelized onions, sauteed peppers and velvety smooth cheddar cheese on French Bread with smoky Ranchero sauce and a side of jalapenos. Awesome.

Served hot and fresh off the grill, this one hits the spot. And the bread is hot and crisp, perfect.

And no worries, they provide you with a whole stack of napkins. Very cool. And after the meal, time for some coffee.

CBTL's cool outdoor kiosk, with modern contemporary and clean geometric lines, great place to chill.

And the perfect spot for a cup.

The White Chocolate Dream (P 120, small). Perfect way to cap the food trip at Ronac Art Center.

You can then try the spiral staircase after to work off the meal...then again, maybe not. Here's to a great weekend ahead...
