The Seasonal Avocado Harvest Yields a New Collection by Sebastian's Ice Cream

The month of August ushers in the bountiful avocado harvests as Sebastian's Ice Cream unveils its newest collection...

Sebastian's Ice Cream celebrates the avocado season with this year's edition of the Avocado Season 2023 collection. Bannered by nine variants available only for a limited time, Sebastian's Ice Cream recreates the flavors of the season with one Dive Bar, an Ice Cream Cake and seven new Avocado Ice Cream flavors for the brand's own version of an indulgent bountiful harvest.

One of the more popular creations from last year's collection, the Avocado Peanut Butter Dive Bar returns with its creamy avocado ice cream on a stick hand-dipped in luscious peanut butter and sprinkled with roasted peanuts for a flavor-packed treat with delectable textures. The natural silky smoothness of avocados becomes even more pronounced in ice cream form, contrasting with the delicately crisp shell of the peanut butter and crunchy roasted peanuts. Already a fan from last year, it's good to see the Avocado Peanut Butter Dive Bar back in this year's highly anticipated collection.

Drawing inspiration from the classic Banana Cream Pie, Sebastian's Ice Cream adds its own avocado-themed twist with the new Avocado Cream Pie. Replacing bananas with avocados results in a creamier finish with Avocado Ice Cream and Sweet Cream Ice Cream swirled in a decadent blend garnished with chunky pieces of Graham crust adding both flavor and textural contrast with each bite. 

The Avocado Pastillas de Leche builds on the traditional combo of avocados and condensed milk garnished with miniature pastillas de leche made in-house for that extra burst of sweetness. The avocado and pastillas de leche combination delivers layer upon layer of sweet indulgence for another seasonal hit from Sebastian's Ice Cream. Creamy and silky smooth with the added sweetness from the pastillas de leche, the combinations from Sebastian's Ice Cream continues to amaze.

Love almonds? Then the Roasted Almond Avocado is the perfect combo from Sebastian's Ice Cream's new Avocado Season 2023 collection. The distinct flavor and texture of roasted almonds complements the creamy notes of the silky smooth and rich ice cream made with fresh avocados and sweet condensed milk.

And Sebastian's Ice Cream doesn't hold back on the roasted almonds, with large whole almonds generously swirled into the lavish ice cream creation. The nutty sweetness and mildly chewy texture of the almonds gives this seasonal variant a distinctive finish.

The Avocado Peanut Butter is another inventive combination that just works. Peanut butter and avocados, just like the almonds, pastillas de leche, sweet cream ice cream and peanuts from the other variants, is another flavorful match elegantly swirled together in a scoop. Take a closer look and you'll find chunks of peanut butter truffles and not just thin strands or swirls for full-on flavors. Sebastian's Ice Cream simply doesn't hold back on the premium ingredients. 

The Avocado Tres Leches takes the natural creamy notes of the seasonal avocado to a whole new level with its indulgent blend of pound cake soaked in condensed, evaporated and whole milk for the classic tres leches inspired dessert in ice cream form. The sinfully creamy smoothness drapes the palate releasing the milky notes from the avocado and tres leches in an elegantly seamless blend.

The Avocado Banana Pudding takes its inspiration from the NY style Banana Pudding with slices of lacatan bananas and vanilla pound cake delivering flavorful bursts of sweetness to the rich avocado ice cream for yet another decadent combo. 

The Avocado Dark Chocolate Chip brings together the deep, bold, nutty and sweet notes of dark chocolate for another flavorful combo smoothened by the creamy flavors and textures of the avocado ice cream for an elegantly balanced finish. The pronounced notes of dark chocolate does not overpower the avocado base flavor, coming together perfectly. 

All seven seasonal ice cream flavors plus the returning Avocado Peanut Butter Dive Bar reflect the versatility of the avocado pairing well with a variety of ingredients for a refreshing rendition of the annual harvest.
