Po Suk Jung: Going Korean in Pasig

With the surge of Korean restautrants in the city, here's another one for your kimchi fix. Located in Orambo, Pasig (near Valle Verde Country Club), Po Suk Jung offers traidtional Korean barbecue and other Korean specialties. Here's a sampling of Po Suk Jung's dishes:

Bulgogi, prepared at your table, with vegetables and noodles. A twist on the usual Koren beef barbecue.

Have some spicy soup with mussels and tofu while waiting for the Bulgogi. Keep an eye out for the sliced chili bits, they really pack some heat. Nice way to start the meal, and a healthy sweat.

Almost done...

A side of salad to go with the Bulgogi. Refreshingly different.

All set and done...

Spicy Chili Squid with vegetables...more spice on the table. Nice.

Premium Angus beef barbecue...good eats.

If you are looking for some alternatives to the usual Korea Garden and Ye Dang, this is a good option. The place has two dining areas, an indoor airconditioned area and an outdoor garden set-up where the meat is grilled. Just look for John, the owner, and he'll gladly make some menu recommendations. Great place for a few brews and good food.

Po Suk Jung is located at 100 Oranbo Drive, Brgy. Oranbo, Pasig City. Call 634-2010 for inquiries.

Dude for Food is now on Facebook, checkout the FB page for regular updates on good eats. Better yet, click "Like" and enjoy the ride...just look for the FB "Like" widget on the right sidebar.
