Chillin' at the Car Wash and Moonleaf Tea Shop

Despite the rains these past few days, the afternoon heat continues to bear down without any let-up. A trip down to the car wash one weekend afternoon meant being exposed to even more heat. But right across the car wash is a cool spot to beat the heat...

From a single store in UP Teachers Village, Moonleaf Tea Shop now has close to forty branches in the metro, including stores in Pampanga, Baguio, Iloilo and Cebu offering a variety of tea-based drinks including milk and fruit teas, plus add-ons.

Moonleaf's refreshing tea is made from freshly brewed, premium tea leaves from the prime tea-growing regions of Taiwan, brewed in-house, steeped and served. Authentic and freshly brewed tea, with no machines.

Moonleaf Tea's Nata Milk Tea (L), House Milk Tea (C) and Jasmine Green Tea (R), just a sampler of Moonleaf's extensive range of teas. Subtle flavors and absolutely refreshing, and a way cooler alternative to sugary sodas.

Car wash done, and then it rains. On cue, just right after the car wash. But no worries. Just chill with a tall glass of Moonleaf tea and sit back, and enjoy the rains.

Moonleaf Tea Shop is located at Ortigas Home Depot, Dona Julia Vargas Avenue, Pasig City. You can also visit their website at www.moonleafteashop.com for more information.
