A Pork Chop and Salmon Dinner at Outback

Steaks usually come top-of-mind when you mention Outback, and that's no surprise. But Outback also offers other savory dishes, and just like their signature steaks, offer equally flavorful options...

...like thick slabs of tender and juicy pork chops and premium salmon for a satisfying meal at Outback. Whatever dish you choose, Outback always delivers the goods with its wide range of dishes to complement their steaks.

Every meal at Outback starts with their freshly-baked signature Bushman Bread (L) served with creamy butter as the Soup of the Day (R) was served. The rich, thick, and comforting Cream of Potato Soup topped with cheese and bacon bits hits the spot, the perfect starter before the mains.

Start with Outback's popular appetizers, like their Appetizer Duo (P 429), a sharing portion of Outback's bestsellers with Crispy Calamari and Kookaburra Wings served with a tart tomato and blue cheese dip. For your Kookaburra Wings, choose from Mild, Medium, or Spicy to match your preference. Perfectly crisp on the outside, tender and juicy inside, it's hard to stop once you start. I've always favored my wings with a dry rub the way I enjoy traditional ribs instead of the usual sticky glaze, and the Kookaburra Wings fits the bill. The calamari is also fried to perfection, with tender squid capped by a thin and crisp layer of breading for textural contrasts.

After quick work on the Appetizer Duo, the mains were then served. The Grilled Salmon (P 849), a tender fillet delicately seasoned and grilled served with fresh seasonal vegetables is the perfect light and healthy option at Outback. The delicate notes of the buttery salmon come through with each bite, delivering a creamy richness followed by the intense concentrated flavors of the char-grilled hints. Light yet satisfying, it's a full meal in itself.

Time for some pork love. Outback's Grilled Pork Chops (P 649), with two thick slabs of center-cut, richly seasoned pork chops served with crisp Aussie Fries, should satisfy any serious craving for pork. Despite the impressive thickness of the center-cut pork chops, almost a little more than a half-inch, the slabs are tender and juicy delivering rich flavors tempered by the sweet and tart salsa and completed by the crisp Aussie Fries.

And having not one but two thick slabs of pork chops makes it a real meal. There's definitely more to Outback than just steaks...
