I was running late to meet a few friends at Red Buffalo, and the usual traffic didn't make it any easier. An hour late, I was finally there. It was my first time at Red Buffalo, and I was surprised at the number of establishments inside the new Greenhills Towncenter. Looking good so far...
Opened early this year, Red Buffalo offers classic American comfort food, buffalo wings, pizza and ribs. The name Red Buffalo is inspired by their Original Buffalo Wings, crisp with a nice heat for a little kick. As I joined the group, I sampled some of Red Buffalo's signature dishes...
The RB's Special, loaded with pepperoni, Italian Sausage, ham, ground beef, black olives, mushrooms, bell peppers and white onions on a thin 12 inch crust. Red Buffalo offers six Classic and six Specialty pizzas, there's definitely one for you.
The thin crust give this pizza a crisp texture that combines really well with the meat and vegetable toppings. Add some hot sauce, and all's good. The fresh onions and bell peppers also give a nice crunch, a nice finishing touch to the pizza.
Homemade Fries with a side of coleslaw, thick cut and crisp, a perfect side to the Buffalo Wings.
Original Buffalo (in Hot, X-Hot and Suicidal) and Parmesan Garlic Buffalo Wings complete the meal. Crisp and full of flavor, the Parmesan Garlic Buffalo Wings has a sharp note, tasty as is even without any sauce. And according to Cheska Zamora, Red Buffalo's friendly manager, a consistent bestseller.
The Original Buffalo Wings, darker in color, has a nice cooling heat, perfect with a few beers.
The place has this cool vibe, and one immediately feels at home. Bright, clean and spacious interiors, perfect for late night meals with friends over a few beers. Overall, I was pleasantly surprised with the food at Red Buffalo, definitely worth a second visit.
Offering both indoor and al fresco dining, Red Buffalo is one cool place to chill. Great food and reasonably priced, a definite must try when in the area.
Red Buffalo Wings and Pizza is located at Unit 11, Greenhills Towncenter, #2 Granada St., Brgy. Valencia, Quezon City, or call 654-6997 for inquiries.
