Here's a refreshing new twist to the usual iced tea which I recently discovered at the launch of McCormick's new Facebook App, Flavor HQ (to view my previous post on the McCormick event, go to http://dude4food.blogspot.com/2012/05/discover-flavors-with-mccormicks-flavor.html). Quick, easy, and refreshing, it's another perfect way to beat the heat. Here's the easy recipe from McCormick's Facebook App, Flavor HQ...
Ingredients:
3 Cups Water
2 tsps McCormick Rosemary Leaves Whole
1/2 simple syrup
Procedure
1. Bring water to a boil and remove from heat.
2. Steep in McCormick Rosemary leaves for a minute.
3. Discard McCormick Rosemary leaves and pour through a fine sieve into a pitcher.
4. Stir in simple syrup.
5. Chill.
6. Garnish with lemon slices and serve over ice.
Rosemary gives a nice soothing flavor and aroma, a great addition to any drink list. So bring on the summer heat!
