The Season for Pork Love...

Fork-tender, sweet and savory Honey-Cured Ham and freshly baked hot pan de sal...it's the season for pork love.

It's that time of the year when Chef Nathaniel Uy of The Hungry Chef is busy in his home kitchen preparing his signature Honey-Cured Ham, adding festive flavors to the Christmas season.

Carve a few slices and pour Chef Nathaniel Uy's thick and sweet sauce for a taste of pure pork love (for more on the premium homemade hams of Nathaniel Uy and his other signature dishes, see my previous post, Nat's Honey-Cured Ham, Garlic-Brined Chicken, and Classic Lasagna Bolognese). The savory richness of the pork is complimented by the subtle sweet notes of the honey, with just a whisper of saltiness to complete the flavors.

Pair it with some of Pan de Manila's freshly-baked hot pan de sal, a slice of cheese, and a cup of hot chocolate...perfect (for more on Pan de Manila, see my previous post, Ready for the Pan de Donut? Now Baking at Pan de Manila). It's breakfasts like these that take you back in time, with all the trimmings of a traditional holiday morning.

Indulge in some pure pork love this holiday season with Chef Nathaniel Uy's Honey-Cured Ham. And here's looking forward to another flavorful year ahead...
