Changing Seasons and Outback's New Seasonal Dishes

Seasons change, bringing new flavors to savor and discover...

Outback introduces their new seasonal dishes to complement the current menu, including a pair of refreshing beverages, an appetizer, savory mains and an indulgent dessert. And for a limited time, diners can enjoy these new dishes served with the signature down under style of Outback...

Located at Eastwood Citywalk, Outback Steakhouse offers a range of premium steaks along with their handcrafted cocktails, starters, seafood, sumptuous main dishes and sinful desserts. The spacious interiors, with its warm earth and wooden tones and courteous service completes the dining experience at Outback Steakhouse.

Every dining experience at Outback begins with their signature Bushman Bread, a warm and fresh-baked bread made with honey and wheat and a side of whipped butter. A complimentary starter, the Bushman Bread's deep nutty notes with just a hint of sweetness is perfectly complemented by the rich creamy butter. Another slice? Absolutely.

Along with the new seasonal items on the menu, Outback also has a pair of exciting and refreshing beverages like the Pomegranate Soda (P 165), a tart and mildly sweet blend of sparkling soda and pomegranate flavored syrup that's not too sweet with just the right bite from the soda...

...and if you prefer a soothing beverage with a shot of bourbon, the Bourbon Peach Smash (P 255) should do the trick, with fresh peaches and mint adding zesty notes to the deep smoky hints of bourbon in a tall and refreshing cocktail. Both beverages pair well with Outback's new seasonal dishes, cleansing the palate with fresh flavors.

After a few more sips of the Bourbon Peach Smash, the new appetizer was served. The BBQ Mini Ribs (P 499) offers bold upfront flavors with slow-smoked baby back ribs draped in a sweet, tangy and tart smoky Asian BBQ sauce drizzled with sesame seeds and served with Aussie Fries. For a starter, this is one hefty dish...

One bite cleanly falls away from the bone delivering the savory richness of pork followed by the sweet and smoky notes of the vibrantly flavored Asian BBQ sauce. The sauce gives it a distinct flavor, differentiating it from their other signature baby back ribs. Ribs and fries, just doesn't get better than that.

For the mains, you can enjoy the rustic and comforting flavors of the new Mushroom Chicken Marsala (P 499) with tender and juicy grilled chicken breast slathered with a thick and savory mushroom marsala sauce served with your choice of side. The delicate notes of the juicy chicken are kicked up a notch with the thick, creamy and rich sauce made with sweet Marsala wine followed by the earthy hints of mushrooms. A light yet satisfying meal in itself, pair it with a side of fresh vegetables to complete the good vibes with a healthy note.

If you still can't decide what to order, Outback's worked that out too with a bit of everything on a platter...

The impressive BBQ Mixed Griller (P 1,299) includes Flame-Grilled Chicken with Outback's signature BBQ sauce, fork-tender and fall-off-the-bone Baby Back Ribs coated with sweet and smoky BBQ glaze, and crisp, plump Coconut Shrimps with a sweet chili sauce served with Aussie Fries. The crunchy coconut breading on the succulent shrimps add both flavor and texture, with the briny sweetness of the shrimps coming through followed by the contrasting sweet chili sauce. And you just can't go wrong with barbecue. Chicken or baby back ribs, the sweet and smoky BBQ sauce adds layers of flavors to the juicy chicken and fall-off-the-bone baby back ribs. The variety of flavors in one dish make this an absolute must-try at Outback. Think of it as a surf & turf meal times three.

Another wonder from Down Under marks its return at Outback for a limited time only. Cap your feast of new seasonal flavors at Outback with the decadent Banana Nut Cake (P 299), a dense and moist cake with banana, rich toffee, nuts, and cinnamon and topped with whipped cream, caramel and chocolate. And this one tastes as good as it looks...

The sweetness of bananas and nuts combine in a decadent and seamless blend, capped by the whipped cream and perfectly finished by the caramel and chocolate for a perfect sweet ending at Outback. Seasons change, and at Outback Steakhouse, that means fresh and vibrant flavors. Enjoy and discover Outback's new dishes but better hurry, the new dishes are available only for a limited time...
