Add Santolan Town Plaza to Your List of Dining Destinations with Comforting Dishes from ALTA by Relik

Somethin's cookin' over at San Juan...

The new Santolan Town Plaza brings both familiar favorites and new flavors to this part of the metro, and here's a sneak peek at ALTA by Relik...

Located at the new Santolan Town Plaza in San Juan, ALTA by Relik is the latest dining concept from the same group behind Relik at Bonifacio Global City (more on Relik on my earlier posts, New Lunch Specials at Relik Tapas Bar and Lounge from five years ago and Rediscovering Relik: Cool Cocktails, Classic Tapas back in 2013).

Diners at ALTA by Relik will be happy to find an old favorite from Relik Tapas Bar and Lounge with the Relik's Nachos (P 298), a sumptuous starter with crisp and crunchy homemade tortilla chips draped in a rich and savory meat sauce topped with freshly shredded lettuce, tart tomato salsa, cheddar cheese and sour cream. And once you start, you just can't stop.

After quick work on the Relik's Nachos, time for some of ALTA by Relik's signature mains...

The Salmon with Creamy Capers Sauce (P 499) is a light yet satisfying main dish with premium salmon smothered in a creamy sauce with the sharp hints of capers to temper the richness for balanced flavors. Elegantly plated, the salmon topped with oranges served with French beans and buttered mashed potatoes is a complete meal in itself. It's the ideal dish for salmon lovers and health-conscious diners.

But it you're looking for some comforting pork love, ALTA by Relik has that covered too. The Crispy Bagnet Kare-Kare (P 475) with crunchy pork laid on rich, thick and creamy peanut sauce is an absolute must-try at ALTA by Relik. Paired with soft and fluffy Bagoong Rice, the dish is perfect for sharing, but I won't judge you if you don't and have this all to yourself.

The rich flavors of the pork come through with a delectable and light crispness for contrasting textures, just perfect with the Bagoong Rice. The rich and sharp notes along with textural contrasts makes this new spin on a local classic another personal favorite at ALTA by Relik. ALTA by Relik offers a wide range of tasty mains for even more options, like the Oven-Baked Barbecue Chicken (P 475), Rosemary Grilled Chicken with Creamy Garlic Pasta (P 389), Slow-Roast Beef Belly (P 425), Barbecue Baby Back Ribs Plate (P 435), Salisbury Steak (P 348) and many more including pasta and flatbread pizza.

Open as early as 8:00 am, Alta by Relik also offers breakfast for early risers for that perfect start.

Breakfast options include the Longganisa (P 255) and Beef Tapa (P 275) served with Garlic Annatto Rice and eggs. Fork-tender marinated beef and richly seasoned local sausages, just can't get better than that. Other tasty options include the Maple Bacon and Chicken Tocino. ALTA by Relik's Breakfast is available from 8:00 am to 11:00 am

For dessert, ALTA by Relik's Milo Dinosaur Cheesecake (P 189) brings back your childhood favorite with an indulgent spin on a temptingly luscious cheesecake. The velvety smooth cheesecake infused with chocolate coats your palate with its rich flavors, perfect with a cup of coffee. Other decadent desserts include the Molten S'mores Lava Cake (P 195) and Banana Caramel Pie A La Mode (P 135)...

And soon on the menu at ALTA by Relik is the sinfully indulgent Ube Cake topped with cheese and served with ice cream. One bite delivers the sweet nutty notes of purple yam capped by the sharp yet creamy flavors of the cheese and perfectly finished by the ice cream. This definitely should be on the menu...

Familiar favorites and new flavors, ALTA by Relik in Santolan Town Plaza is a welcome addition to the neighborhood. If you find yourself in this part of the metro, good food is just along Santolan...
