Let's Do Sunday Brunch at The Cafe

All the chefs at The Cafe are ready and waiting for you. Bring your game and appetite for another sumptuous feast, let's do Sunday Brunch at The Cafe...

Freshly shucked oysters, wok-fried lobsters, seafood on ice, and Spanish Iberico Cured Ham, it's just some of the indulgent offerings at The Cafe at Hyatt City of Dreams. Built around an innovative live culinary theater concept with different cooking and buffet stations spread out on a spacious yet easy to navigate layout, Sunday Brunch at The Cafe combines massive scale and impressive variety all in one place. Read on for a peek at Sunday Brunch at The Cafe and let the chefs plate up your dish...

Experience a unique live culinary theater performance by skilled chefs via six interactive stations for a unique dining experience at The Cafe. Choose from The Italian, The Grill and Griddle, The Deli, The Asian, The Comfort and Favorites, and The Pastry for an epic Sunday Brunch to cap the weekend.

The number of chefs at The Cafe is the first noticeable impression you get as you enter The Cafe. At each of the live stations, a large team of chefs are on deck to prepare any dish you desire a la minute for that perfect Sunday Brunch experience (for more on The Cafe, see my previous posts, Perfect Weekends...In A Hyatt World, Eastern Culinary Journeys at The Cafe, Cantonese Treasures at The Cafe, Spice Trades: The Road to Gurgaon Starts at The Cafe, and Quick Bites: A Taste of America at The Cafe). And there's just nothing quite like starting off your Sunday Brunch at The Cafe with a plate of freshly shucked Fine de Claire oysters with red vinegar and lemon wedges. The fresh and clean notes of the juicy oysters deliver a delicate briny sweetness capped by the sharp hints of the red vinegar and lemon for a perfect start.

At The Asian section, why not have a bowl of Vietnamese Pho prepared with the garden fresh vegetables in a light yet flavorful broth seasoned with herbs and spices? You'll also find a wide variety of dim sum, Chinese-style barbecue, assorted roasts, wok-fried dishes and fried rice...

...along with an array of savory noodle dishes like this tasty Beef Hofan. The Cafe brings you on a culinary journey with a wide selection of flavors and culinary styles, and all you need to do is pick up a plate and cross over the different stations.

Over at The Deli section, diners can enjoy the day's freshest catch, including a wide selection of plump shrimps...

...succulent crabs and lobsters, mussels and clams. You can enjoy your fresh catch as is or have it grilled, baked with cheese or sauteed in garlic butter. At The Deli, you'll also find a wide selection of charcuterie, pates, and imported cheeses along with freshly baked bread, savory terrines and fresh sashimi and sushi.

A plate of seafood is transformed by The Cafe's station chefs, delicately sauteed in butter with garlic and finished off with a squeeze of lemon. And it just can't get better than that.

Sushi? Or Sashimi? Just leave it to the station chefs to plate up your all seafood brunch with fresh slices of tuna, salmon, and maki. With so many sushi and sashimi options to choose from, you'll definitely have your sushi and sashimi cravings satisfied at The Cafe. Guaranteed.

And who doesn't love fried food? Over at The Comfort and Favorites section, you can enjoy shrimp and vegetable tempura fresh from the fryer, plus an assortment of fried dim sum along with pressure-fried dishes and fried food from all around the world.

At The Grill and Griddle station, you'll find the carvery, grill, teppan griddle, churrasco, kebab and yakitori specialties of the The Cafe. Choose from a variety of fresh seafood and and have it grilled, like this elegantly plated Grilled Salmon served with roasted vegetables.

In between plates, take a walk around The Cafe and you'll discover even more tasty surprises. At The Italian section, choose from a wide selection of pasta, pizza, and other comforting Italian favorites. That day, we found some Foie Gras...

...and the station chef prepared and plated it a la minute. Delicately seared, the juicy melt-in-your-mouth foie gras is placed on a crisp slice of baguette with sides of sweet and tart apple confit and nuts. One bite, and you'll want another. And before you know it, you're heading back to The Italian station for a tasty double take of foie gras.

Enjoy your Sunday Brunch at The Cafe with free-flowing sparkling wine for a minimal add-on (see buffet rates below), and why not, it's a weekend.

Here's the beef. Why not go all-out for Sunday Brunch at The Cafe with some serious beef? At The Grill and Griddle section, feast your eyes on The Cafe's massive offering, The Steamship. The name alone gives you an idea of what to expect, pure beef flavors with the finest Wagyu Beef from Snake River Farms.

Or indulge in some pork love with The Cafe's whole roasted suckling pig. Have some juicy pork topped with crisp crackling draped in liver sauce, and it's game over for your diet. Who diets on a weekend, anyway?

Back at The Italian station, the chefs presented their Sous Vide Beef Shank served with roasted vegetables and ready for carving...

...while at The Comfort and Favorites section, you just can't pass up on Crispy Pata, the classic deep-fried pork knuckles. So pick up another plate. And the best part? There's no need to rush, just go with the flow at your own pace for a proper Sunday Brunch at The Cafe.

An epic feast at The Cafe isn't complete without dessert, and at The Pastry station, you can indulge in a tempting variety of freshly baked pastries and decadent cakes...

...like these jars of pure indulgence. Velvety smooth Chocolate Mousse topped with thin slivers of almonds served in small mason jars and a freshly brewed cup of Latte to end a perfect Sunday Brunch at The Cafe. Just perfect.

But wait. Why not twirl your own serving of soft-serve ice cream topped with marshmallows and drizzled with chocolate syrup for your own customized sundae?

The Pastry section also offers pancakes and waffles including a do-it-yourself Halo-Halo for good measure. You can also have the station chef prepare some crepes with your choice of filling, like this crepe with apples topped with chocolate syrup, perfect with another cup of freshly brewed Latte.

Cap your Sunday Brunch at The Cafe with some fresh fruits for that perfect finish. It's the way to end a weekend. And it's like that everyday at The Cafe. Pick your day, and indulge in a memorable feast at The Cafe...
