It's time to taste the renowned flavors of LongHorn Steakhouse starting with the White Cheddar Stuffed Mushrooms (P 795), a tasty starter with fresh roasted mushrooms hand stuffed with garlic herb cheese crowned with a crisp Parmesan crust and laid on creamy four cheese sauce. The deep, earthy and nutty notes of the mushrooms are perfectly complemented by the multiple layers of different cheeses for that luscious richness and mildly sharp hints for contrasting yet balanced flavors. 


The Hand-Chopped Mixed Greens Salad (P 195) with a tart vinaigrette cleanses the palate with its fresh and clean notes...

The LongHorn Salmon (P 1,195-7 oz./P 1,645-10 oz.) is a light yet satisfying meal in itself with hand-cut Atlantic Salmon marinated in LongHorn Steakhouse's very own housemade bourbon marinade and served over rice with a side of Fire-Grilled Corn Riblets. Like butter, the Atlantic Salmon just melts-in-your-mouth draping the palate with a lingering fresh and briny sweetness made even richer with the housemade bourbon marinade. This one's high on my list for those meatless days at LongHorn Steakhouse


My steak pick has always been the classic Ribeye. The well-marbled 12 oz. Ribeye (P 2,980) paired with Seasoned French Fries just hits all the right notes from the deep flavors of the beef to the bold blend of seasonings in true LongHorn Steakhouse style. 


On the table, a sturdy and sharp well balanced steak knife is an essential tool of the trade. But the 12 oz. Ribeye is juicy and tender requiring minimal or no effort at all for a slice.  


Grilled to medium rare with a juicy pink center, the 12 oz. Ribeye is the perfect cut and size for my appetite. The savory richness of the tender beef is tempered by the bold and even aggressive blend of seasonings which I prefer over the usual steak sauce any day. This allows you to taste and experience the unrestrained and pure flavors of the beef, uncluttered by unnecessary sauce that really overwhelms the natural beef flavors. This is pure steak indulgence in its simplified yet purest and honest form. And that's my kind of steak. And yes, you just can't fake steak. Not at LongHorn Steakhouse


How do you top a good steak? Why, with dessert of course. LongHorn Steakhouse caps your feast with a line of decadent desserts like the Molten Lava Cake (P 595), The Cheesecake (P 595) and Strawberries & Cream Shortcake (P 595), best paired with cup of freshly brewed Cafe Latte


My pick? The Chocolate Stampede (P 695-1 pc/P 1,195-2 pcs). If you love chocolate, this one's an easy pick. Imagine six kinds of chocolate with silky smooth vanilla bean ice cream. Need I say more? 

With the opening of one more steakhouse in the metro, all I can say is that we can never have enough of good steakhouses. And LongHorn Steakhouse is a welcome addition to the growing specialty steakhouse scene. You can lock horns debating on the best steakhouse in the metro, but LongHorn Steakhouse can stand on its own with its repertoire of quality beef masterfully executed and enhanced by its very own blend of bold seasonings. That's steak as it was meant to be. And steak done right. Steak sauce? Hold the sauce, I'm diving straight into my 12 oz. Ribeye at LongHorn Steakhouse...
