With over 200 branches in the US, Mexico, Puerto Rico and the Middle East, P. F. Chang's China Bistro officially opens its first branch in the Philippines. The Dude was invited to a sneak peek of the venue and to sample the cuisine during P. F. Chang's soft opening cocktails.
The warriors welcome you to P. F. Chang's, and already you know it's gonna be fun...
A few minutes before the soft opening...
Despite the traditional design theme with Chinese artifacts, P. F. Chang's exudes a modern and contemporary feel with its elegant use of space and and lighting.
The circular design theme is present throughout, providing an elegant yet casual feel.
One of two al fresco areas on the second floor, cool spots for a few drinks and good food.
Drawing heavily from the signature look of P. F. Chang's, the overall effect is pretty impressive, yet the place has this really cool vibe.
The friendly staff at the reception.
The bar staff, all set and ready...
And the party begins...
And the food? If the cocktails were any indication, you can expect some awesome good food in the regular menu. Here are some of the Dude's favorites, starting with tuna on crisp dim sum wraps...
...the crab meat wontons...
...the spicy chicken...
...the Mongolian Beef with US Angus beef caramelized with onions and garlic...
...the hot and sour soup served in shot glasses...very cool...
...the Honey Crispy Shrimp...by far the Dude's top pick...
...and the vegetable spring rolls.
Enjoying the party with Allana, Eric and Ewan. Good food. Good times.
And the party goes on. Not only can you expect good food, it's also a perfect place to chill with friends.
In an already crowded market place, is there room for yet another restaurant in the local scene? Definitely. There's always room for good food. And I can't wait to be back to sample the regular menu. P. F. Chang's will formally start their operations on January 19, so check it out. Congratulations to P. F.Chang's on their soft opening, and yeah, the quest for taste knows no bounds.
P. F. Chang's China Bistro is located at the Alabang Town Center in Muntinlupa, just look for the warriors...
