What's in the Pantry...Marketman's Kalamansi Marmalade Artisanal Preserves

My cuz brought back this great marmalade from a recent trip to Cebu, and it's awesome! Made by Marketman's Artisanal Preserves (the same marketman of the Market Manila blog), the Kalamansi Marmalade, made from native limes, is a sweet sour delight.

And I still have some ciabatta from Bizu in the fridge. Perfect. After a light toast, spread the marmalade generously and enjoy.

Always great to see quality local products. And this one's a winner.

Check out the Marketmam's awesome blog for details on his full line of artisanal food products at http://www.marketmanila.com/.

  3. That Kalamansi marmalade sounds great, not too sweet and with that sour kick from our native fruit. Nice find!

  6. Here in Bohol, friends keep turning me on to some fine jams from Leyte, Cebu, etc. Some high end resorts around here also offer homemade jams. Nonetheless, this feature of yours just made me more cognizant and want to try these tasty local products from now on.

This calamansi marmalade sure looks perfect with pandesal and other European breads which you'll find lots here in Panglao Island.

    Thanks for sharing!

  7. That looks really good and I have not had any of that back in Pinas. I want some and I want to taste it myself. That looks good like experimenting with chicken and cook it with that Lime Marmalade you have for a sweet and sour chicken marmalade maybe? Hmmmm... I sure would love to have some. :) Yummy Ciabatta bread as well. Really looks good! I am your new follower by the way.
