Beating Traffic with the Carne Asada Burrito at B&T Mexican Kitchen

I always pass by B&T Mexican Kitchen on the way home, and most of the time I resist the urge to make a sudden right turn for some tacos. Tonight, the traffic was particularly bad, not unusual for the area. Maybe it's time for a Burrito...why not. I then make that sudden right turn.

The Carne Asada Burrito (P 350), a little more than 6 inches long and almost 3 inches in diameter, pure burrito love. Every order comes with salsa (go for the spicy one) and garlic sauce.

It's always a challenge to decide what to order, but the steak burrito seems to have my name on it every time I pass by B&T Mexican Kitchen. I've already tried the Lengua Salsa Verde Flautas as recommended by the owner, Philip. Great reco. I still have to try the Duck, Tripas and Cabeza on my next visit (check out my previous post on B&T Mexican Kitchen at http://dude4food.blogspot.com/2011/10/taco-time-at-b-mexican-kitchen.html).

My Carne Asada being prepared...

...and here she is.

I enjoy my burritos fajita-style, with the beans served on the side.

The steak is tender and full of flavor, nicely complemented by the pico de gallo, cheese and vegetables.

Definitely at the top of my list. And a great way to beat the traffic by simply making a right turn...

  1. I made a random turn for a similarly overstuffed burrito this week too, but that one is insane! It looks so good.

  3. We never really frequent Greenhills, although we live near. I'll keep this place in mind when we happen to be in this area. Those burritos interest me! Visiting back from Delight My Appetite!

  5. I love how it looks like, really packed with rice, meat and veggies. I don't like beans so it's good that it's just on the side. :)
