Oktoberfest at Brotzeit German Bier Bar & Restaurant

It's October, and that can only mean one and sausages. And there's no better place to be than Brotzeit German Bier Bar & Restaurant to jump start the Oktoberfest.

Serving authentic Bavarian cuisine and an extensive range of Paulaner beers, Brotzeit German Bier Bar & Restaurant sets the standard for premium brews and classic Bavarian dishes (see my previous post on Brotzeit here at, from sausages to pork knuckles. And for a proper Oktoberfest vibe, Brotzeit pulls all the stops and goes all out.

Magic 89.9 DJs TonyToni and CarlaD kick off the festivities at Brotzeit, and its time for yet another round of Oktoberfest Bier, Paulaner's special brew.

To get you in the proper Oktoberfest mood, special Paulaner 1 Liter Mugs were given to guests for unlimited refills of Paulaner Oktoberfest Bier. Full-bodied with a subtle malty sweetness and a slightly higher alcohol content (6%) than the usual lager, Paulaner's Oktoberfest Bier also pairs well with the popular Bavarian dishes at Brotzeit. Unlimited refills. All night. And the cool part? The limited edition Paulaner 1 Liter mug is yours to take home.

Pair your Paulaner with Brotzeit's special Oktoberfest Platter, a party sized serving of assorted Bavarian pork and veal sausages, steamed mussels, roast chicken and crispy pork knuckles (Schweinshaxn), served with a side of pickles, mustard, horseradish and sauerkraut.

The roast chicken was perfectly tender and juicy, great as is or with some gravy. The pork knuckles had a light and crisp outer layer over juicy pork, and not at all greasy. Pure, clean flavors, just perfect with Paulaner's Oktoberfest Bier. You'll definitely need another Oktoberfest Bier refill.

Beer. Sausages. And more beer. Just can't get any better than that. Cheers to Brotzeit Bier Bar & Restaurant for a successful Oktoberfest event. Prost!
