Elegance preserved, take a nostalgic walk back in time at Casa Roces, an ancestral home given new life as one of the metro's unique restaurants.
The former ancestral home of the Roces clan, Casa Roces preserves the best of the past with subtle touches of cool modernity. And despite the clean, contemporary updates, one can still feel the comforting warmth of the former ancestral home, retaining furniture and memorabilia, for a unique dining experience.
Just right across the presidential palace, the ancestral home of the Roces clan has seen history unfold countless times, with a front row seat of the country's symbol of power. And the Roces clan has been at the forefront, behind the prestigious name of The Manila Times, the family's flagship in their media empire.
Reminders of the clan's influential media empire, bannered by The Manila Times, are displayed adding a nostalgic touch to Casa Roces.
Like a portal to another time, Casa Roces invites you to go on a sentimental food journey with its traditional Filipino and Spanish family recipes. The Kape Chino, located at the ground floor of Casa Roces, named after the late Don Joaquin "Chino" Roces, and iconic figure in contemporary history. Despite the clean and modern updates, Casa Roces retains the warmth of the ancestral home, with antique furniture and heirloom pieces.
The Bar area on the ground floor exude a homey and comforting feel, just the place for a leisurely afternoon cup of coffee, or a few rounds of drinks.
On the second floor, the former private spaces of the ancestral home are transformed to elegant function rooms, named after the clan's iconic media publications. The Daily Mirror Room, perfect for lunch meetings or groups of 8-10, with cool views of the property as well as Malacanan.
Preserving the elegance of a bygone era, Casa Roces offers other function rooms to fit your requirements, all maintaining the traditional look of the family's ancestral home.
The La Vangaurdia Room, a large function room for larger groups, with elegant furniture for a formal lunch or dinner.
The Liwayway Room, a casual function with panoramic views of the property's garden.
And if you're looking for something more intimate, Casa Roces can arrange the Tribune Room just for you.
If weather permits, you can also enjoy your meal al fresco, in the lush gardens of Casa Roces.
Voted as one of the Philippine Tatler's Best Restaurants for 2013, Casa Roces offers diners a unique experience. Take a taste back in time at Casa Marcos, with some of the metro's best Filipino and Spanish dishes, only at Casa Roces.
