Inside the elegant space, the main dining area is a vibrant spot with its splash of colors making it the perfect stage for an authentic and sumptuous Indian feast. The modern and contemporary vibe adds a luxurious spin to your dining experience at Royal Indian Curry House.

But Royal Indian Curry House has even more delightful surprises. A few more steps takes you to the RICH Lounge with its own stylized take on elegance...

...with its play on dark and muted tones complemented by warm backlit marble hues making this the perfect sanctuary for a tipple before and after an exquisite Indian feast. The RICH Lounge is also the spot for live musical performances and even belly dancing shows. And don't forget their Panipuri Station set-up on weekends (be sure to check their social media pages for schedules and more details). From fine dining at its main dining area to soothing cocktails at the bar and lounge, Royal Indian Curry House takes the multi-concept format up a notch as its key point of differentiation versus other options in the area.

Then, there's the al fresco area where diners can enjoy their own shisha sessions in the shifting afternoon light. Royal Indian Curry House is definitely more than just your usual Indian restaurant, it's your secret sanctuary at the heart of Quezon City. The Royal Indian Curry House QC location is part of a growing network of branches that now includes Makati, SM Mall of Asia, Angeles City and Boracay.

But first, some libations in true Royal Indian Curry House style. Your exploration of authentic Indian flavors begins with a refreshing Mango Lassi (P 329), the traditional buttermilk/yogurt based drink blended with spices and fruits. The blend of both sweet and tart notes comes together seamlessly to open up the palate for the authentic Indian feast ahead.

Smooth and creamy, each sip drapes the palate with a decadent and lingering sweetness. It's also the perfect beverage to temper the fiery heat from the spices with most dishes at Royal Indian Curry House. But you'll soon find out that the complex and traditional blend of spices at Royal Indian Curry House isn't one dimensional or just about the palate numbing heat. It's about gently building layers of flavors (just be sure to mention your preferred level of heat when you order from the menu). Other buttermilk/yogurt beverages include Lassi Sweet/Salted (P 279), Buttermilk (P 279), Saffron Lassi (P 329), Strawberry Lassi (P 329) and Rose Lassi (P 309).

Then, a trio of sauces with Mint, Tamarind and Chili is laid on the table. The gentle cooling effects of mint, the savory sweetness of the tamarind and the sharp bite of the spicy chili sauce combine for the exotic weave of Indian flavors to complement the wide variety of dishes at Royal Indian Curry House

The succulent and melt-in-your-mouth Fish Malai Tikka (P 619) is an excellent way to ease you in to the unique and bold flavors of Indian cuisine. Imagine delicate boneless slabs of tender meaty fish marinated in yogurt, rare spices, lime juice and the prized saffron and finished in the penetrating heat of the traditional clay oven. The fresh, clean notes of the fish with just a whisper of briny sweetness comes through with each bite...

...followed by layers of flavors from the yogurt, spices, lime juice and saffron. The marinade does not overwhelm the mild flavors of the fish, but builds on it for a delicately balanced finish completed by subtle smoky hints from the clay oven. An elegant dish, the Fish Malai Tikka offers gentle yet nuanced flavors with the yogurt and spices adding complex and deep notes for a true taste of India in this part of the metro.

The Matki Chicken (P 669) is a comforting and savory dish with tandoori chicken seekh kebab and egg gently simmered in a thick and flavorful gravy. Paired with soft and lightly crisp Garlic Naan (P 249), the Matki Chicken is a dish where all the components share equal billing in terms of flavor from the tender savory notes of the tandoori chicken and egg all the way to the thick and flavorful gravy.

In fact, it's the thick gravy that carries the dish with its deep, bold and savory notes releasing flavorful bursts. The complex blend of secret spices come into play bringing layers of flavor accompanied by an occasional hint of comforting heat to tickle the palate. Tear off a large piece of Garlic Naan and mop up the gravy for an intense burst of flavor with each bite.

The richness of the gravy complements the flavors of the tandoori chicken seekh kebab while the egg completes the hearty dish. These are the flavors you can expect at Royal Indian Curry House, pure and unrestrained with nothing held back.

As you finish off the savory Matki Chicken with Garlic Naan, Royal Indian Curry House takes you on another flavorful ride with one of their popular bestsellers. The Hydearabadi Biryani (P 819) with fork-tender cubes, rib chops and slabs of lamb cooked with basmati on dum or sealed by a soft crust is a hearty one-pot meal in itself. Served in a clay pot, the Hydearabadi Biryani is served with Dahi Chutney or yogurt based sauce with mint, onions and coriander to cool you down when the fiery heat from the spices strikes for that creamy finish.

The long-grain rice absorbs all the flavors from the various ingredients of the slow-cooked dish, released in a flavorful medley after just one bite. That bite brings a surge of flavors from the lamb, spices and herbs elegantly smoothened by the creamy Dahi Chutney. You can even add more flavors with a dab of Mint, Tamarind or Chili Sauce to take you even deeper into India's storied culinary heritage.

The Fish Malai Tikka, Matki Chicken and Hydearabadi Biryani are just some of the authentic Indian dishes you can enjoy at Royal Indian Curry House, and these are the dishes that I'll definitely come back to on my next visit. Authenticity and masterful execution is Royal Indian Curry House's game, and you can experience this with their extensive menu for a memorable Indian feast in QC.

Cap your Indian feast at Royal Indian Curry House with a freshly brewed pot of Masala Tea (P 329) with milk, ginger and spices to soothe the palate.

The pronounced notes of the spices are perfectly smoothened by the milk with the deep notes of the tea adding a flavorful depth with each sip.

Pair your Masala Tea with the indulgent Gulab Jamun (P 219), a traditional dessert with soft dough balls fried in ghee or clarified butter and slathered in sweet syrup. Topped with thinly shaved almonds, the Gulab Jamun is the picture perfect sweet ending to a lavish Indian feast at Royal Indian Curry House
