It's a bit cloudy, but the summer heat is still in the high 30s and the humidity just drains you. Need another cool fix to beat the heat...
...time for some ice cream. Time for Double Dutch Overload.

Double Dutch has always been my feel good flavor, and every time I need to feel good after a rough day, it's definitely Double Dutch. Smooth and rich French Vanilla ice cream, cashews, marshmallows, chocolate chips and chocolate fudge... awesome.
A few heaping spoonfuls and everything seems okay, even momentarily.
It's the flavor I always keep in stock in my fridge.

DeleteThis does look like the perfect way to beat the heat. That ice cream does have some tasty add ins. I have yet to see any ice cream here with cashews! It is not scorching here yet, but the flame of the summer days will be here soon. Stay cool!

ReplyDeleteRefreshingly iced drinks abound here in Panglao Island. They even have these incredibly delicious fruit shakes (avocado, langka, mango, melon, etc.) for only 50pesos for a tall glass, but the strawberry and durian go for 75p. And of course, the most popular among the locals here is the buko water with milk and ice cubes, 10p only :)
