Buffalo Wild Wings pulls out its winning playbook for another exciting quarter of feasting...
...that's guaranteed to go beyond regulation time into overtime. Everyone has their favorites at Buffalo Wild Wings, their very own first five on the winning team. Here's some of my own personal favorites...
Wings, beer and sports is the winning combination at Buffalo Wild Wings (for more on Buffalo Wild Wings, see my previous posts, Wingin' It at Buffalo Wild Wings and Changing The Game at Buffalo Wild Wings). In fact, it's been their trademark play for over three decades. The refreshing Asian Zing Chicken Salad (P 305 Half/P 495 Full) with crisp garden-fresh greens and cabbage laden with savory grilled Asian Zing chicken, sweet Mandarin oranges, crunchy fried wontons and drizzled with a creamy and nutty sesame dressing always starts the game for me...
...followed by another dependable starter. The Ultimate Nachos (P 485) with warm and crisp corn tortilla chips covered in tart and fresh housemade pico de gallo, chili, shredded lettuce, jalapenos, queso and salsa keeps the up-tempo game with its fresh and clean flavors.
Like they say about nachos, once you start, you just can't stop. Pair it with a soothing Watermelon Shake (P 150) or an ice-cold bottle of Stella Artois. Choose from local and imported beer from Asahi and Sapporo to Budweiser and Corona, Heineken and Hoegaarden, Brew Kettle and Katipunan to San Miguel Pale Pilsen and San Mig Light.
You just can't not have some of their signature wings, and the Lemon Pepper Seasoning with citrus zest and black pepper is a favorite at Buffalo Wild Wings. The signature wings come in Snack (P 305-5 pcs), Small (P 645-10 pcs), Medium (P 955-15 pcs), and Large (P 1,195-20 pcs) in sixteen flavors. The wings are undoubtedly the star players on the team ably supported by an equally flavorful cast from the winning bench, like the Potato Wedges (P 125). After a few tasty bites, the MVP makes its appearance on the court...
And for the main event, Buffalo Wild Wings pulls all the stops from their winning playbook with the sumptuous MVP Platter (P 1,495), a hefty platter loaded with Wings draped with your choice of seasoning, tender and juicy Pork Ribs slathered in tangy and smoky barbecue sauce, and savory Pork Liempo grilled to perfection with a side of richly seasoned Corn on the Cob.
Here's a detailed play-by-play of what you can expect from Buffalo Wild Wings' fully loaded MVP Platter, starting with the fork-tender and fall-off-the-bone Pork Ribs with the savory richness of pork followed by layers of smoky hints and a delectable tangy sweetness from the barbecue glaze...
...with a winning assist from the Garlic Parmesan Wings that just bursts with vibrant notes from the sharpness of the Parmesan followed by the nutty hints of garlic...
...capped by that long and deep Hail Mary Pass with the Pork Liempo, Buffalo Wild Wings's version of the local favorite with grilled pork belly delivering comfortingly familiar mildly sweet seasoning. The tender pork, along with the lightly charred portions combine for a savory richness capped by hints of sweetness and smoky flavors. Just perfect.
The winning play is finished perfectly with a serving of Buffalo Wild Wings' signature Dirty Rice for a fitting feast of champions. That's definitely MVP material on my book.
In between bites from the MVP Platter, you have Buffalo Wild Wings' famous wings. The Parmesan Garlic (L) and Lemon Pepper Seasoning (L) wings are favorites at Buffalo Wild Wings, spicing up your feast like those fast and exciting transition plays in a fast-tempo game of hoops.
It's the wide assortment of tasty offerings that make Buffalo Wild Wings the perfect venue to enjoy your favorite bites as you watch the latest games on their multiple screens.
