Ready for The Great Aussie Eats at Outback...

The Australian-inspired steakhouse rolls out new dishes for even more tasty options...

Outback introduces The Great Aussie Eats, a line of new dishes from starters to mains and dessert, each one offering new flavor experiences with its blend of refreshing combinations. It's more reasons to visit Outback. Read on and take a peek at the tasty offerings of The Great Aussie Eats at Outback...

Start with Outback's featured cocktail for The Great Aussie Eats, the refreshing Gold Coast Rita (P 204), the proprietary house margarita blended with Jose Cuervo Gold Tequila. Enjoy it frozen or on the rocks, either way, a few rounds of this soothing cocktail gets you in the Aussie groove in no time.

Kick-off your Great Aussie Eats with the new Tomato and Mozzarella Bruschetta (P 349), a tasty starter with crisp grilled French bread topped with a slab of fresh mozzarella and tart oven-roasted tomatoes drizzled with basil pesto. Small bites that's big on flavor, it's the perfect start to your Great Aussie Eats experience at Outback.

Just take a look at the generous slab of creamy mozzarella on crisp toast. One bite and the richness of the mozzarella coats your palate followed by the bold and vibrant notes of the oven-roasted tomatoes for balanced flavors, rounded out by the nutty hints of the basil pesto. It's the play on contrasting flavors and textures that open up your palate, preparing it for the next round of new dishes, that make this dish a must-try...

For the mains, Outback's Hearts of Gold Cod (P 799) offers the fresh flavors of grilled cod topped with artichoke hearts, sun-dried tomatoes, and green onions draped in a light and creamy lemon sauce, served with rice and fresh seasonal vegetables.

The clean and delicate notes of the flaky white fish are layered with the sharp and intense notes from the sun-dried tomatoes and green onions, and perfectly finished by the citrusy lemon sauce. It's a light yet flavorful and healthy option, with the rice and fresh seasonal vegetables completing the dish.

And here's the beef. The Chile Marinated Ribeye (P 1,599), a tender and juicy premium ribeye steak perfectly char-grilled to your preference, topped with a refreshing avocado pico de gallo and served with traditional Mexican corn-on-the-cob, crispy tortilla chips, and grilled tomato drizzled with rich chile sauce and sour cream.

I've always enjoyed my steaks medium rare without any sauce, but the avocado pico de gallo does add an interesting layer of tart flavors tempering the richness of the ribeye, and it works. In between bites of the ribeye, the avocado pico de gallo and the grilled tomato cleanses the palate, and you're ready for another big bite. The corn-on-the-cob, seasoned with a rich blend of spices, adds even more flavors to the dish and the crisp tortilla chips completes it. Outback's The Great Aussie Eats offers a wide range of flavors, and the Chile Marinated Ribeye is a refreshing alternative to the usual steak dish.

Cap your Great Aussie Eats at Outback with the indulgent Tropical Fruit Cheesecake (P 269), the classic New York-style cheesecake with a tropical twist, topped with seasonal tropical fruits including kiwi, strawberries, and mango. The Tropical Fruit Cheesecake is crowned with whipped cream with a touch of lime zest, laid on a bed of sweet mango coulis. And it tastes as good as it looks...

The creamy notes of the cheesecake are kicked up by the sharp and vibrant flavors of the tropical fruits, complex and contrasting flavors blending seamlessly with every bite. Paired with a freshly brewed cup of coffee, it's the perfect ending to a sumptuous meal at Outback (for more on Outback's other signature dishes, see my earlier post, All-Time Favorites at Outback...).
